Where do I find "_______" Mixtape at?
We are not a Mixtape website, so we do not have any mixtapes.
You can find mixtapes on MixtapeMonkey.com.
You can find mixtapes on our shared website shared.tapeeater.app.
If none of those work you can always ask our Discord Community where to find your fav mixtape at.
How do I get my music off Tape Eater and onto Spotify?
First of all, gross. You'd stop supporting a couple cool indie devs and give your money to a mega corp? That's really weird but if you must we'll help you.
Step One: Turn on Local Files on Spotify
- Open Spotify on your iPhone.
- Tap your profile picture at the top.
- Tap Settings and privacy.
- Tap Apps and devices.
- Turn on Local audio files.
- Go back and open Your Library.
- Look for Local Files. Your saved local tracks should appear there.
Step Two: Turn on Music Files on Tape Eater
- Open Tape Eater App
- Tap the gear icon on the top right corner
- Tap Customization (This is a premium feature)
- Turn on Show Music in Files
- [Android Only] Select where to place your Mixtape Folder
Step Three: Move Your Files
- Go to Files App
- Go to On My iPhone
- Go to Tape Eater folder
- Go to mixtapes folder
- Tap Copy/Move
- Go to On My iPhone
- Go to Spotify folder
- Paste/Move
- Music should now be
- playable on Spotify now
Why is there a countdown on shared mixtape?
All shared links expire in 24 hours. You will still have the mixtape in your library when the link expires.
Does this work on the Mac?
Yes, kinda. We don't have a dedicated Desktop Mac app just yet but the iPad version works on the desktop. It isn't optimized for the Mac so you may experience some bugs.
Does this work on PC?
No. We don't have a PC version of the app on the roadmap anytime soon.
